我写文章很费劲,这导致我不太想写博客,于是我想到让codex帮我润色,我只需要提供草稿核心内容即可,这样能低压输出。
Writing takes quite a bit of effort for me.
Sometimes I have a few ideas, but the thought of turning them into an article someone else can follow puts me off. So the blog keeps getting postponed.
I want to try having Codex help edit. I can put down what I want to say, even as a rough draft, and let it help with sentences and paragraphs. That might make it easier to begin without worrying whether it already looks like an article.
After the editing, will it still sound like me?
That matters to me. I want to keep more than the conclusions: I want to keep the way I arrived at them. Guesses and questions I haven’t figured out can stay.
So Codex and I have agreed on a style: natural, restrained, like talking something through with care. The writing can be clearer without making me sound more certain, or making every article end with a grand conclusion.
Put a sentence on the workbench
One thought. What changes in the telling, and what stays?
我写文章挺费劲的,所以总不太想动笔。后来我想,能不能先把核心想法写下来,让 Codex 帮我理顺表达?这样开始写的时候,压力也许会小一点。
Writing takes quite a bit of effort for me, so I keep putting it off. Then I wondered: could I put down the core ideas first and let Codex help me express them more clearly? Perhaps that would make starting a little less daunting.
Scribere mihi satis difficile est, itaque saepe differo. Deinde cogitavi: possimne praecipuas cogitationes primum scribere, ut Codex me adiuvet eas clarius exprimere? Sic fortasse facilius incipiam.
↳ The long sentence is split up. The sense of effort stays, along with the uncertainty of an idea still to be tried.
Prepared examples; switching does not call a model.
A page can be something to play with
We can design the page along with the words. Take the little note below: does the same sentence feel different when we arrange it differently?
I don’t need every post to look the same. Some thoughts want quiet reading; others might work better as a diagram or something you can try. With Codex helping, I want to treat each post as a visual experiment.
My voice, in another language
That led me to another experiment.
What happens if I give Codex both the article and our style guidelines, and ask for English, or even Latin? A language I don’t understand, carrying my thoughts and trying to keep the way I speak. I’m curious about that.
Still, a complete-looking translation doesn’t tell me it is accurate. And I can’t judge directly whether the Latin sounds like me. Chinese will remain the original; the other versions will stay as translations and experiments.
I’ll start with this one. Let’s see whether writing this way makes it a little easier to begin.
